The XY Moving Plate is a device to collecting random nanofibers. It is equipped with a square plate, easily removable at the end of the process to take off the electrospun membrane.
The system is able to move the plate along two directions to fill the plate in the xy plane. User can choice among several trajectories (a simple axis or bustrophedic) to obtain an homogeneous deposition.
The system has a useful on-board display to set parameters (velocity of the axis, strokes, time, etc.) and inside a Lab Machine it can be connected to PLC for remote control.
The chassis is made of chemical resistant material to minimize the electrostatic interactions and to perform nanofiber’s collection on the plate.
